Yoga for Healing

Yoga is a holistic, healing discipline that offers a broad range of tools for supporting health, healing and personal transformation. Yoga's tools include postures, conscious breathing techniques, meditative practices, gestures, the use of vocal sounds, guided self - inquiry and much more.
These tools can be utilized in an infinite number of combinations to suit the unique needs of the individual throughout the ever - changing stages of his/her life. DMATC offers private instruction (also known as Yoga Therapy), and specialized group classes, in keeping with our focus on personalized yoga for specific health and wellness needs.

Children Special Training

Dynamic Martial Arts Training Center, has an exciting self defense and safety awareness program for children age 3 to 16. The mission of DMATC is to promote child victim prevention by instructing every child and their families, in self - defense and safety awareness, personal esteem, respect for others, self discipline and physical fitness. Positive familial relationships are also enhanced in our program. At the conclusion of each semester, students are eligible for certified belt rank promotion, and every child receives a number of participation and recognition awards.
Our coaches are certified instructors who have also been trained in the "Stay out of Reach", "Run,Yell and Tell", and "Stranger Danger" curricula. They have also received training by our consulting clinical psychologist related to effectively affirming children, responding to their emotional needs while in class, and managing behavioral concerns that a child might demonstrate in a class.

Self Defense

DMATC's Self Defence, Empowerment, and Personal Safety programmes and workshops enable you and your family to recognise, avoid, diffuse and - if absolutely necessary - defend yourself against real world violence. Our programmes give you the confidence and skills to know that you will get home safely whatever the circumstances (without creating un-necessary fear). It’s that simple.
DMATC's programmes are safe, interesting and highly valuable to everyone of all ages and in any profession. Our programmes are built on four pillars: Avoidance, De-escalation, Physical response, and Post-event issues. We teach you to recognise and understand the behavioural, emotional and psychological aspects of real world violence, without having to live in fear or constant worry, and give you strategies to help avoid potential violence at its earliest point. If it cannot be avoided we train you to defuse and de-escalate potentially violent situations if possible, and when a physical response is absolutely necessary, we prepare you with realistic physical skills that work under stress and pressure in any situation and environment.

Counseling

Counselling has a vast meaning in this era. In this complex, busy and changing world, it is hard to lead a calm and quiet life, Now, there are many different types of experience that are difficult for people to cope with, most of the time we get on with life, but sometimes we are stopped in our tracks by an event or situation that we do not, at that moment, have the resources to sort out. Most of the time , we find ways of dealing, with such problems in living by talking to family, friends, neighbors, priests or our family doctor. But occasionally their advice is not sufficient or we are too embarrassed or ashamed to tell them what is bothering us, or we just don't have an appropriate person to turn to.
Counselling is a really useful option at these moments. In most places, counselling is available fairly quickly, The Councillor dose not diagnose or label you, but does his or her best to listen to you and work with you to find the best ways to understand and resolve your problems.
